What we collect when you join the Shipbase early-access waitlist, and why. Last updated October 5, 2026.

What we collect

When you join the early-access waitlist we store:

  • Your email address.
  • Where you came from: the campaign tags in the link you followed (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign), the site that linked you here, and which form on the page you used.
  • Your answers to the optional questions after signup, if you give them.
  • A one-way, keyed hash of your IP address, used only to stop automated signups. We never store your IP address itself.

Why we collect it

To email you when Shipbase opens early access, to understand who Shipbase is for and where interest comes from, and to keep the waitlist free of spam. We don't sell your data or use it for advertising.

Emails

We send a short welcome email when you join and will email you when early access opens. Replies come to us directly. If you'd rather not hear from us, reply to any email or write to hello@shipbase.xylolabs.space and we'll remove you.

Analytics and cookies

We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page visits and waitlist signups. It doesn't use cookies and doesn't identify you across sites. After you sign up we set one short-lived cookie, valid for a day, so you can answer the optional questions. It isn't used for tracking.

Who processes your data

Shipbase runs on Vercel (hosting and analytics), stores the waitlist in a Neon Postgres database, and sends email through Resend. They process data on our behalf and only to provide those services.

How long we keep it

Until early access has opened and we no longer need it to contact you, or until you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data at any time by writing to hello@shipbase.xylolabs.space. We'll reply within 30 days.
